The Challenge
A new home going up just outside Pomeroy needed a brand-new septic system. On a rural Meigs County lot without access to public sewer, the septic system is one of the first things that has to be done right, since the home depends on it from day one. It had to be installed carefully and to the approved design.
What We Did
Our crew excavated for the tank and leach field following the approved design. We set the tank level, then laid the distribution lines on gravel at the correct grade so effluent will spread evenly through the field and the system can do its job from the day the home is occupied.
With the tank and field in place, we connected everything to the house line. We then backfilled and compacted around the system and graded the area so it is ready for seed and the yard can be finished around it.

The Result
